The Story.
In Crescent Park, in Richmond, California, there used to be a green utility box under a streetlamp at the base of Hartnett Avenue. As kids we use to meet up there and kick rhymes to the handbone. Mentioning Hartnett is a nod to how we used to get down back in the day. There's a tribal beat box thing (a Yoruba portal thing really to connect with my dearly departed from the CP-ville days,) happenning in this track. Some keys turned what started out as hip-hop inspired, somehow became a backbone for something housey; well, becuase House is a tribal thang too.
